Christopher McDaniel
   Chris McDaniel began employment with Harris County Precinct 1 Parks Department.  He currently holds the position of Parks Manager, where he oversees the daily operations.  Chris has shown an interest in peotry and photography.

   Chris McDaniel confessed his calling to the Ministry in August of 1998.  He preached his first sermon on Sunday, August 23, 1998, at Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Pastor Albert McDaniel.  The title of the sermon was "A Sinners Metamorphoses" II Corinthians 5:17.  After his first sermons he attented the College of Biblical Studies in Houston, Texas.  Chris served as an Associate Minister until his election as Pastor on June 1, 2003.

   Christopher Donell McDaniel has been inspired by the vision that has been set before him by his father, the late Pastor Albert McDaniel.  Chris has embraced the calling that God has given him and has faithfully accepted the challange.

   Christopher Donell McDaniel was born on January 29, 1958, in Houston Texas.  He is the first of two sons of  the late Sis. Lula Mae McDaniel and the late Rev. Albert McDaniel II.  In 1962, his younger brother, Demetris McDaniel was born to this union.  Chris is also the sibling of three other brothers: Rev. Michael Mays, Tony Gordon, and the late Rev. Albert McDaniel III.

   Chris McDaniel attended Public Schools in the Houston Independent School District.  In 1976, he graduated from Ross Sterling Senior High School.  After graduating, Chris decided to attend the Columbia School of Broadcasting with aspirations of becoming a DJ.
